SPOTLIGHT ON START-UPS
Henri@Nestlé
Still in the early phase - the platform will be launched at the end of this month (June) - Henri@Nestlé is a global open innovation programme that will expand on the company’s existing collaboration with start-ups through its Silicon Valley Innovation Outpost.
Named after the Swiss company’s founder and launched to celebrate Nestlé’s 150 birthday this year, successful applicants will get the chance to partner, pilot and scale up their solution with Nestlé.
A spokesperson for the company said: “The business challenges for our partnerships with start-ups will come from all areas of the business and could cover digitally enabled services, creative crowdsourcing, sustainability and product innovation,” although more details about the funding or application process were not available.
“Startups can submit ideas to the site, which will provide an ongoing series of business challenges on themes from digital services and sustainability to creative content and product innovation among others," said a statement made by the company to announce the launch.
