Mondelez hopes for sweet success with sour gum
Sales of gum are falling flat around the globe; Mondelez has launched two flavors of Sour Patch Kids gum under its Stride brand umbrella intended to capture the attention (and shopping dollars) of the sour candy's fans. Introduced in the 1970s, Sour Patch Kids (produced by UK-based Maynards) are popular with children as as well as adult consumers who fondly remember the candies from their childhood.
